TIP: Farm Stock
Track Due Dates using the
Calendar
You can set the calendar to automatically show expected calving
dates based on information posted in the "Stats/Mating"
tab.
Select Defined Events from the Add/Edit menu. In the Predefined
Events, you can click on Service for the Predefined Event
and then select Give Birth for the "This Event Triggers"
and enter the proper number of days. If you are not sure of
the number of days, check your records for that cow for the
last couple of years and make a guess from that information.
Your calendar will now show expected births based on the
mating date of all future matings that you enter into Farm
Stock. Of course this only works if you do have mating dates
for your cattle.
