KS Precision Agriculture Conference 2007
January 25-26, Salina Kansas

Join Martens Farms at the 10th Annual Kansas Agricultural Technology Conference in Salina, Kansas on January 25-26. This event is an applied workshop for farmers, consultants, industry, researchers and others who are grappling with using precision agricultural concepts in their business or farming operation. It is sponsored by KS Agricultural Research Association and K-State Research and Extension.
- If you have a yield monitor or a GPS guidance or steering system;
- If you have spatial data from your planter, sprayer, soil sampling, on-the-go sampling, remote sensing, etc.;
- If you have a desire to get more good out of your investment in technology;
- If you sell or service any of these technologies;
This conference is for you!
This will be a celebration of the 10th Anniversary of holding an ag technology conference. Dr. Terry Kastens will kick off the conference with a look back and review of where we’ve been with these technologies and a view to the future.
Conference speakers have first hand experience with precision agriculture technologies. There will be ample opportunity to interact with speakers during presentations and breaks.
Come and ask questions – learn from others just like you. Make contact with people from industry, university, extension, ARS and production Agriculture who are using new technologies daily.
Previous Conference participants report that often the best “learning” comes during the breaks when you are encouraged to continue the discussions and interactions. Someone may be able to help you figure out how you can get more from your technology investment.
KARA was organized in May 2000 by a group of innovative Kansans (producers, researchers and industry members) who share a common desire to learn more about production agriculture and continue to be a part of the leading technological and informational changes taking place on today’s farms.
