EZ-Guide Plus
Lightbar Guidance System
See the newest versions of this excellent guidance system:
EZ-Guide 500 (WAAS, OmniSTAR, RTK) and EZ-Guide 250 (WAAS only).
The
Ag Leader EZ-Guide® Plus lightbar guidance system was the first
system to combine crystal-clear guidance LEDs, a sunlight-readable
LCD screen and integrated GPS, all with the slimmest profile of
any lightbar on the market. It's easy to install and operate, and
fully expandable for future needs such as assisted or auto-steering. Although newer versions are available now, this is still a good workhorse at a great low price.
We use this guidance system on our own farm, along with the EZ-Steer
for hands-free steering. We also connect a Pocket PC running Farm
Site Mate and Trac Mate for data logging and field mapping. This
system is a very flexible, affordable option.

The EZGuide Plus takes guidance well beyond the standard lightbar
system. It features an easy-to-read illuminated LCD display screen
that can be programmed for six different guidance modes —
A-B line, A+, identical curve, adaptive curve, headlands and center
pivot. The display allows you to see where you are and where you
need to be from either an "overhead" or "perspective"
view, while simultaneously displaying dual text options such as
offline distance, swath number, speed, field area, satellites, heading,
etc. You have the convenience of using the graphics display, the
35 built-in LED's or a combination of both for guidance.

The EZ-Guide® Plus lets you apply inputs, perform tillage operations,
or harvest with better accuracy and fewer overlaps or skips. The
six-button remote control has an audible end-zone alarm that warns
you of approaching headland edges or moving off-swath, allowing
you to precisely control how and where you apply inputs. EZ-Guide®
Plus also has receiver firmware technology giving sub-meter pass-to-pass
accuracy during periods when the WAAS differential signal is blocked
by obstructions such as trees and buildings.
The unit allows you to work longer and in tough field conditions
(like fog, darkness, wind or dust) that would not be possible with
other guidance systems like foam markers. Additionally, the system
helps reduce driver fatigue that can cause safety issues. The rugged
design safeguards your investment because it is built with hardware
that lasts. It is built for use in tractors, sprayers, combines,
and ATVs. It is also easy to move from one piece of equipment to
the next in just a few minutes.

2-4"
accuracy. Unlike some other systems, the EZ-Steer is easy to install,
works on many older vehicles, and is quickly tranferred between
equipment.
With the included T2 Terrain Compensation Technology, the
EZ-Steer achieves even greater accuracy on rolling hills and rough
terrain.
