The Emtac Bluetooth GPS "Trine" Receiver (Emtac
BTGPS) is the second generation of the world's first mobile GPS receiver integrated
with bluetooth technology for wireless operation. Bluetooth-enabled devices can
send data like GPS data, phonebook/address book contacts, spreadsheets, documents,
pictures and notes to other Bluetooth enabled devices wirelessly. By sending GPS
position data over Bluetooth, you can position the receiver for the best possible
reception all without wires. It's a great option for farm, corporate, or recreational
use.
The Emtac BTGPS allows you to receive GPS data wirelessly on any Bluetooth-enabled
PDA or laptop PC. It will simultaneously link to three other Bluetooth-enabled
devices, such as PDAs, laptops, and mobile telephones. It provides fast signal
acquisition and re-acquisition, low power consumption (a rechargeable, replaceable
10-hour battery!), embedded antenna, and LED status lights. The Emtac BTGPS supports
DGPS with programmable WAAS/EGNOS. Martens Farms ships the Emtac BTGPS with WAAS
already enabled.
